Today, we are delighted to take you behind the scenes of the olive harvest at three of our partner producers: Predio Son Quint in Spain, Oleificio San Calogero in Italy and Malersu in France. This year's harvest is shaping up to be a good one, and we are delighted to share with you an exclusive photo report highlighting the first promising signs of the season.
Predio Son Quint: A Majorcan treasure
Predio Son Quint olive oil is emblematic of Majorca, with an aromatic profile characterized by floral fruitiness and aromas of pastry notes, making it a delicate and refined olive oil. Located in the Sierra de Tramuntana region, in the north of the island of Majoraca, Predio Son Quint estate is one of the oldest estates in the Balearic Islands. The este embodies a centuries-old tradition of olive cultivation and olive oil production, perpetuating ancestral know-how.
The photos captured by our producer reveal beautifully laden olive trees, heralding a bumper harvest for this year. The first olives are already showing their face, promising an olive oil of unrivalled quality.
Under the expert eye of Luis Espanol, the harvest is both early and artisanal, Lui and his team take great care of each tree, ensuring a very limited production of exceptional quality. Benefiting from ideal climatic conditions, Majorcan olive oils are renowned for their rarity and excellence.
We have forged a solid relationship with Predio Son Quint. By closely following their cultivation methods and working hand in hand throughout the year, we can guarantee the quality and authenticity of the olive oil we offer.
Oleificio San Calogero: Sicilian tradition and excellence
Oleificio San Calogero is a true gem, embodying the authenticity and charm of Sicily. It is on this enchanting island that it draws its inspiration and ancestral know-how.
Our producer recently sent us captivating photos of his olive groves, set in the heart of Sicily's breathtaking landscapes. The images reveal olive trees bursting with fruit, heralding an abundant and promising harvest for this year.
We enjoy a close relationship with Oleificio San Calogero, sharing with them a common passion for quality olive oil. Our ongoing collaboration enables us to closely monitor every stage of production, ensuring an olive oil with rich, authentic flavors.
Malersu: Corsican perfection
On the eastern coast of the Isle of Beauty, on the plain of the village of Chiatra, nestles the Malersu estate, a rare pearl between sea and mountains. Malersu's olive groves, captured through spellbinding photos, reveal beautifully laden trees, promising a generous harvest for this year. At the moment, with Corsica under water restrictions, Letizia still favors her horses. We hope that a few rains or downpours will revitalize her estate.
Under the watchful ere of Letizia, heir to her father's passion for the olive tree and nature, the family estate has been producing a precious PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) olive oil for a decade, winning a gold medal at this year's Concours Général Agricole. Letizia devotes her energy to nurturing her 1,250 Ghjermana olive trees to produce an olive oil of exceptional quality: a monovarietal olive oil that reveals generous aromas of Corsican maquis herbs, mingled with round notes of almond and pine nut.
We enjoy a relationship of trust and close collaboration with Malersu. By following their work throughout the year, we ensure that every bottle of olive oil we offer reflects Corsica's unique excellence.
